Staffelterhof

Located in the town of Kröv on the Mosel, this winery dates from A.D. 862 when is was given to an Abbey by the great-grandson of Charlemagne. Staffelterhof has been in the private ownership of the same German family since 1805 and exhibits the typical steep terraced vineyards that are a characteristic of the region.
Paradies Riesling Paradies Riesling: an off-dry (feinherb) wine from the vineyard Staffelterhof in the Mosel town of Kröv. It has a nice balance of sweetness, acidity and minerality. Alcohol is 11.5%, so it is not overly sweet. The winery dates from the year 862 when it was part of an abbey. The winery and vineyards have been under the same family ownership since 1805.
