The group of friends who own these vineyards are dedicated to producing fine wines that are produced following sustainable agricultural methods. They have received the designation of Australian Certified Organic processor. Their two lines, Mark Davidson and Wine Lovers come from the Orange Wine Region, Hunter Valley and Mudgee in New South Wales, and the Marlborough Region of New Zealand.
Wine Lover's Shiraz Wine Lover's Shiraz: This Shiraz displays typical cool climate black currant, clove spice, and back pepper aromas with good length. Partner with most red meats.
Mark Davidson Riesling Mark Davidson “Mail Run” Riesling: The Orange vineyard site used to be a stopping point for the Cobb and Co (mail run) that used to run through the Orange area in the late 1800’s. The wine features fresh floral and fruit aromas with a refreshing citrus palate.
Mark Davidson Chardonnay Mark Davidson “Sanctuary Farm” Chardonnay: Before being farmed, old maps show the winery's Orange vineyard as an animal sanctuary. This wine exhibits ripe stone fruits aromas and a soft mouthful with good length.
Mark Davidson Cabernet Merlot Mark Davidson “Three's A Crowd” Cabernet Merlot: As they say, 'two's company and three's a crowd'. Cabernet Sauvignon provides the backbone, Merlot the smooth texture. Perfect company.
Mark Davidson Shiraz Mark Davidson “North Bore” Shiraz: One of the vineyards is at Borenore or 'North Bore'. In Australia a 'Bore' is a hole to access underground water. Shiraz is Australia's iconic variety. Abundant sunshine allows perfect ripening and flavor development. This wine shows black currant and clove spice characters with a lingering finish.
